The Cheff Ranch lies on a mountainside overlooking the beautiful Mission Valley, where we run cattle and raise, from our Tennessee Walker studs, 150 head of horses on 15,000 acres. Guests may choose to take part in the daily routine of our working cattle and horse ranch. Others prefer to spend their time exploring the beauty of our area on foot or horseback, swimming or canoeing in our lake or the nearby mountain lakes. Some days are spent just relaxing among the tall pine and fir trees on the ranch lawn or reading a book by the beautifulwaterfall next to the guest rooms. Our lake is full of cutthroat trout that any guests are welcome to catch and release. In the valley below is the National Wildlife Refuge, where opportunities for fishing also abound as well as excellent opportunities for bird watching.
